Fill in a PDF form

Application forms, questionnaires and bank or visa forms often come as PDFs with fields. Fill them in right on the page, check the result and save — no printing or special software needed.

How to fill in a PDF form

  1. Drop the PDF form into the box, or tap choose files. Fields are highlighted in blue.
  2. Click a field and type; tick the boxes and choose options from the lists. Tab moves to the next field.
  3. Tick Lock the answers if the recipient must not change them, then press Save filled PDF and Download.

Letters of every language

Many forms are made with fonts that only know English letters, so names like “Şəkərov” or “Иванов” turn into empty boxes in other programs. Here every filled field is redrawn with a font that has Latin, Cyrillic, Azerbaijani and Turkish letters, and the file looks the same in any PDF reader.

Lock the answers

With Lock the answers the fields become ordinary text on the page: the document looks the same, but nobody can change the answers by accident. Without it the fields stay editable, for example if someone else still has to fill in their part.

A form without fields?

If the PDF is a scan or was made without fields, there is nothing to fill in — use Add text to PDF and type anywhere on the page.

Frequently asked questions

Why doesn’t my PDF show any fields?
Probably the form was made without fillable fields (for example, it’s a scan). Use Add text to PDF — you can type anywhere on the page.
Will my answers be visible in other programs?
Yes. The values are written into the fields and redrawn with an embedded font, so Adobe Reader, browsers and phones show them the same way.
Can I sign the form after filling it in?
Yes. After saving, press Sign PDF below the result — the filled form opens there right away.
Is it safe for personal data?
Yes. The form is filled in your browser; neither the file nor your answers are sent anywhere.
