Mark a document as a copy, draft or confidential, or put your logo on it before sending. Documents with a watermark are harder to reuse without permission.

Protect copies of your documents
When you send a passport scan, a diploma or a contract, put on it who it is for and why: for example “Copy for the bank, 2026”. Such a copy is much harder to use for anything else. The Repeat across the page layout covers the whole page, so the mark can’t simply be cropped off.
Text or logo
The text watermark is added as real text in semi-transparent colour; the image watermark accepts PNG with transparency, JPG and WebP. You can limit the watermark to certain pages, for example 1-3, 5.
Frequently asked questions
Can a watermark be removed?
Anyone with PDF editing software can remove almost anything, but a semi-transparent mark repeated across the page makes this hard and clearly shows the document was marked.
Will the text under the watermark stay readable?
Yes, with transparency around 15–30%. The preview shows exactly how it will look.
How do I watermark only some pages?
Enter the pages in the Pages field, for example 1-3, 5. Leave it empty for all pages.
